MB in SLC

Okay, if you haven't already read my first post, I suggest you do so before reading on so you can understand what this meant to me. I just saw Micheal Buble, in person!! His concert was just breathtaking (LOVE his voice) and in the middle of it he jumps off stage. At the encouragement of my husband I run down from the very back and somehow when I get to the bottom there is no one in between us and our eyes meet and he gives me a big hug and I whisper "your gorgeous." But I didnt really mean it at that moment because as you can see in this life size picture of him, he's short. I think my arms were around his neck, because he shoulders were so far below mine. It was a little disappointing, but I hear he has a girlfriend now anyway, so he might be okay without me. Ive got a new crush now, Edward the Vampire in the Twilight series books. Theres a man I really could never get my hands on. Thanks for putting up with me Josh!!

Sad Goodbyes

This week we had to say goodbye to mom and dad and Mark and Kirst. We think we have been so lucky to live close to them for the last few years and to be able to share our kids with them. We are going to miss them so much! Especially my boys. James put it perfectly as we drove off "Im kind of glad Grandpa is a General Authority, but sometimes I wish he wasn't." This night was for sure one of those times. We love you guys and know you'll have great times!! Oh, bye the way, does anyone know how to put captions under the pictures? I would love give some individual attention to these family members!

Ferarri Red

James finally got his cast off. He took a fall on his bike and broke his elbow. The Dr. gave him the cast color choices, ending with and expecting the manly color blue. "Red" James said. I wondered why, and then I realized "Oh, lightning McQueen, hu?" "No. Ferarri red. Ferarri only made the GT40 in red." I think thats about as masculine as it gets, but no one else realizes this and I tried to offset it with lots of blue shirts.
Since the removal of said cast we are missing a part of our daily prayer, the part in which James starts to tap quietly on his cast mid prayer until his elbow is mentioned. It didn't help when it was Sam praying, as it only made him think of something to curse him with "that James' arm wont heal...that James arm wont feel better....that James' arm will hurt." Luckily those prayers weren't answered and he has almost his full range on motion back. We love you James!

Luke Turns 2!

Luke had another disappointing birthday, It was the first time (and hopefully last) that we had store bought cake for a birthday. I'm hoping he didn't mind, and it doesn't mean we love him less, but this has been a crazy month and desperate times call for desperate measures. He is so much fun right now I don't want him to change a bit!

Seven Year Itch

Hey all! With my parents moving next month, I'm determined to become a regular blogger. If its anything like journal entries it will be very inconsistent. I am excited to start a photo blog (the link will be on this website) where I get to post a few of all my shoots to let my clients get sneak peaks of their pics and let everyone else see what fun things I do in my 'spare' time.
But this blog I wanted to muse on our anniversary which recently took place. They say that 7 is about the time you start finding yourself thinking of other men. Its totally happening to me! Its such a silly crush, and its just a crazy love. Micheal Buble! He's probably like 21 or something, and I think its the voice more than anything, and the love songs he writes just speak to me. His new album came out just before our anniversary and included a song I had to erase off my computer on account of when I was listening to it I wondered if I was being totally faithful to Josh. "Me and Mrs. Jones" apparently its an old song, and its just about him meeting her at the cafe every morning. Too bad I already have it memorized. Ironically my anniversary gift from Josh was tickets to his concert in July. I'm getting weak in the knees just thinking about it. I'm going to be one of those 13 year old girls in the American Idle audience bawling at the beauty of the performer.
I love Josh more than ever, I feel so lucky to be his wife and best friend. He really is everything I've ever wanted, and I want to thank him for that. But if our marriage doesn't make it another 7 years, let it be Michael or at least someone with the last name of Jones.
