april in paris

If I had to sum up my trip in one word, I guess it would be inspiring. I came home with some serious resolutions including...

try some bulbs in my grass

Mix the old with the new

Bake some bread

Pull out my oil paints

Convert to Catholicism based solely on this Notre Dam gargoyle overlooking the city

Paint my front door blue

Pop my collars

Plant my window box

Remember this sunny day on rainy ones

Change my facebook profile picture

Attempt rolled fondant

See the world.

Well, I have a lot to do. Ill get more pictures and details soon.

These pictures are amazing. I can't wait to see the rest of them. Maybe you could bring them to your mom's tomorrow night?

I think all your inspired ideas are wonderful and I will join you in your pursuits starting with painting my door. LOVE!

Thanks so much Alisa for going with me. It was wonderful to spend the week with you in such an amazing setting. You're the perfect traveling companion! Was Ginger so happy to see you?

I love these all, Alisa. Is that Xavier in the popped collar one? He is classy. So are you. I love the profile pic. What if we did a national parks tour instead of Italy next year? I think we may find ourselves inspired watching the new Ken Burns series this fall. Sometimes we look to the other side of the fence and neglect the beauty in our own back yard. But I have to admit I love these Paris pictures.
