There have been a lot of emotions since my diagnosis, but the strongest has been gratitude. Its strange how happy it has made me.
Theres not much time tonight. In a nutshell, Im grateful for:
My mom who gave me life
My dad who taught me how to live it
My siblings who share it with me
My friends who make it fun
My Dr.s who are going to save it
My husband who makes it wonderful
My kids who make it meaningful
My Savior who makes it eternal

You're killing me. Have you always been a poet/writer? I mean I remember reading journals, but nothing stuck out like your posts. It is time for you to start a book, you are very inspiring!
Natalee, I remember reading yours (they were so sweet) I dont remember you reading mine. Arent roommates the best?
alisa-I'm going to needlepoint that on a pillow! But really that is beautiful.
You really have an amazing way of putting things, Alisa.
well put! HOw are you feeling?
I'm with Natalee. Why don't you write a book, Alisa?
If I ever wanted to have my children "be" something, I wanted them to be grateful. I found out in my life that it truly is the way to be happy--being grateful. I also remember how all those same thoughts and feelings came to me when I had the pulmonary embolism and was so very sick, and then was healed. Thanks for blogging, I love you!
Beautiful, Alisa!
When you say share, you probably didn't mean for us to move in with you. . .oh well.
Alisa, thank you for this inspiring post. I quoted you in my sacrament mtg talk today...hope you don't mind :).

You just read mine? No wonder I don't remember being inspired.
