You should always send flowers to your wife when she gives birth

Its been a pretty good day. Last night when they kicked me out of the hospital I was was in so much pain I told Josh if I ever get cancer again I am not going to treat it. That was extreme. Today I can get up by myself and stay up for a few minutes.

I did make the mistake of examining the damage. I felt like the little women when Joe takes the hat off her head to reveal her haircut, 'Oh Joe, your one beauty!' Josh has always said my legs were my best feature. Maybe he will have to settle for leg in the singular.

My little sister has been here updating my itunes with awesome songs to keep me happy. Its amazing what High School Musical will do to your mood.

I got a box of flowers delivered to my door today. It read "Congratulations on your first baby boy. Better late than never. Love, Josh."

Congratulations on the boy, even if he is 47 inches and 49 lbs 5 oz.

Maybe you should try a peg leg and we could sail the seven seas together! But seriously, I'm sure your "good" leg makes up for any imperfections in your "not-so-good" one. Josh, congrats on being way romantic and sending Alisa those flowers. Not many men would think of that!

I remember similar thoughts after my surgeries, something like "just shoot me now and put me out of my misery!" Every day after gets a little better, and I've not stopped thanking Heavenly Father in every personal prayer since for the blessing of being free of pain. Someone once said, "most of the work in this world is done by people who are in pain." I believe it, and being in pain makes you think about them. I also think it gives a person a perspective on Christ's suffering that--well, of course--you can't get in any other way. I'm glad you are feeling better and that THAT part is over! Oh, and about music! I know!!!it has healing power. Keep that therapy up!

You saw that Josh Groban has a Christmas album out, right? That was enough to perk Amy up for a while. Can we say, O Come All Ye Faithful with the Mo-Tabs?

So, glad to hear your virtual voice! I love that you still have your sense of humor. I hope today is better than yesterday, and the same for tomorrow, and so on. . . Much love!

You're lucky you have a sister. And good legs. Mine are sticks with a big bump in the middle. Who cares? At least I'm not fat. You've been listening to High School Musical? I thought you had good judgment!

Josh makes me laugh. The first time I bought flowers for Heather was Valentines day. I bought them the night before and thought it would be a good idea to freeze them in the car and then set them on the table before I left for work so they would thaw and be incredibly beautiful for her when she woke up. When I left they looked great, but I guess when Heather woke up she was not impressed since they were dead (nobody gives us guys enough instruction on this kind of stuff, I mean, when was I ever taught that freezing flowers kills them). Unfortunately Heather and I are addicted to your blog. Thanks for keeping us posted and know we keep praying for you!

Oh my gosh... Josh is a crack up. You do have hot legs... I've always been jealous. You do remember that in college you had the exact measurements of a supermodel... jealous of that too.
