consists most importantly of a scripture in Romans "but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; and patience, experience; and experience, hope."
I have to admit Ive started cramming. Memorizing scriptures when I get the chance.
These last few days have felt so wonderfully normal. Except in my nightly prayers in which I have always started out 'thank you for this day'-I linger and let the images of my kids, friends, husband, family, play through my head and I cry. Out of gratitude, not real sadness.
Life is so beautiful.

He is so cute--I thought it was Sam for a minute--he's getting so big, too!
I love that picture of Luke! The colors are fantastic! You do an amazing job Alisa!
You and your family are part of what makes life so beautiful.
I love that boy. I love you. I think we've all become more sincere in our prayers lately. Thanks, Alisa.
My prayers sound a lot more grateful after all of this too. Thanks for helping me change.
I wish that I could see you!!!
Life is always more beautiful when you're on a big wheel with the handlebars backwards.
Avery was enamored with the picture of Luke. She kept pointing at him and saying "naked baby!". I have taught her well. She just turned two yesterday, and likes older men, so this might just work out.
Love the pic of Luke. He is so cute, and once again, you really are an amazing photographer. xoxo
Which brings me to the question, why am I the only one in the neighborhood whose kids run around in diapers with their faces messy?
It's so amazing when we can truly "glory in tribulation". I think the only way we can is by trusting in our Heavenly Father.
Alisa, it's better than running around with messy diapers in their faces - am I right?
